We are a regional and apostolic equipping center serving Texas and our nation. Our clear purpose is to equip and send people into their destinies while serving to transform a region. For this purpose we serve as a connecting point for a variety of ministries, house churches and also other churches outside the region. Transformation begins with individuals and so we house a Christian Spirit-led counseling center and also an inner healing/prayer ministry called Set Free. We are convinced that worship and prayer are foundational to following Jesus in all pursuits and so we host Tabernacle of David worship and frequent regional prayer gatherings. All these ministries work together through covenant relationship. See more about these and other ministries under the “Ministries” tab.
As a regional center there are those who wish to gather with us weekly and so we meet on Sundays for worship and teaching at 10:30 a.m. This time is spent connecting with our Father in heaven and loving Jesus. It is a time for the gifts of the church to be enjoyed as we see prophetic release in word and song. Our teaching is centered around what the Lord is saying to the church in our season.
We meet Wednesday nights at 6:30 for the purpose of becoming disciples. The adults meet for deeper interactive study. Our children have Power Club and the youth also meet for worship, teaching and games. This is where the next generations learn to become ministers to their peers, schools, neighborhoods and cities.
Brazos Covenant Ministries is led by a team of elders and ministry leaders. The team approach is found in Ephesians 4:11-13:
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
The goals and desires of the Leadership Team are:
– for Christ to be the Head of His Church
– to be led by the Holy Spirit
– to provide vision and direction for the local church
– to facilitate your gifts, callings, and ministry!

One of the main priorities of our church is to seek the presence of the Lord. Worship is a major focus of our corporate meeting time. On Sundays there is rotating schedule of preachers and an openness to receive words and exhortations from the Body, even from our children!
If you have a word to share with the Body, we would ask that you first bring it to the prophetic team so that we can release it at the right time. Our desire is to see the gifts and callings of the Body developed and released so that we might “grow up into all the fullnes of
Brazos Covenant Ministries is positioned in the North Texas Region to be an agent of revival and reformation in Hood County, the State of Texas, and throughout the country. While BCM is a local church it is at the same time called to be a regional center for the Body of Christ to gather and pray towards this objective:
“Let Your Kingdom Come on Earth as it is in Heaven!”
Brazos Covenant Ministries is aligned with and actively supportive of the Brazos Strategic Network, a regional prayer network that meets regularly for strategic prayer missions and assignments. For more information visit their website at brazosstrategicnetwork.com
Brazos Covenant Ministries is blessed to be aligned with larger networks for the purpose of equipping, relationship and accountability. Our first alignment is with the Federation of Ministers and Churches International led by Apostle Jim Hodges. You can visit their website at fmci.org.
Our ministries and leaders are also a part of other beneficial alignments that help to equip us as we equip others. Our lead apostle, Merrie Cardin, is also a member with Global Spheres International, Barbara Wentroble and the International Coalition of Apostolic Leaders. These relationships keep us moving with and encouraged by the broad expression of the church at large.
